A few weeks ago I totaled my ‘21 Kona. The upside is I walked away in one piece.
Down side: insurance paid off the car but left nothing for me.
I learned a few lessons that day,try and let others hit you instead of running into inanimate objects that can offer no monetary recompense.
And that I have really bad cataracts.
As most of you know i had to leave the world I loved after 23 years in the restaurant/bar industry. Career choice didn't come with a golden parachute upon forced retirement due to the severe stage 4 COPD.
With retirement and the whopping $1500 SSDI (disability money) a month my bills are piling up and I cannot afford the down payment on a used car and am struggling to pay the deductible of the cataract surgeries scheduled for next month.
So as much as I hate to do this at all I am asking for any help possible to aid in paying down my mounting bills and down payment on a used car.
I never thought I’d ever sink to this level in my life, but here I am.
I know times are tough all over and I apologize for even considering having to do this.
Thank you in advance for any assistance you may be able to offer.
Much love to you all, Tim/ The Candyman
