Fighting for Aj

Hi my name is Skyler hodge and my family and I are trying to raise money to help with travel expenses and anything else it takes to find answers for our baby Alexander. He was diagnosed with a very rare genetic brain disorder. The hospital we are admitted into now doesn’t have much information on his diagnosis so are plans to to be traveling to different research hospitals to try and find more answers. This hospital is telling us his diagnosis is terminal but we will not stop fighting for him and answers, even if there are clinical trials out there for him. Any amount donated will be very helpful as we will be traveling and most likely many hospital stays. If you can donate please just pray for our boy. Thank you.

 

Update: Aj has now been intubated to try and help relax his brain from so many seizures that are from his rare brain disease. Please keep praying for our boy and any donations will help us get to the hospital in Boston for more answers 

Update- we took him off the ventilator and thought things were going okay and now he’s having trouble breathing so they have him on a cpap machine to help him breathe m. We are still in the icu. Please pray for our boy. Also anything helps as we have been in the hospital over 2 weeks now so any donations or prayers are greatly appreciated! Thank you! 

Update- We are being transferred to Boston children’s hospital just waiting for the paperwork to be finalized. Anything will help us as we will be away from our home and even our state. Thank you so much. 

Aj still has every day struggles along with a list of disabilities. Aj can not sit or hold his head up and sadly those may never happen for him but we will never give up or stop fighting for him.
