Raven is a super sweet, smart sensitive mare, she has a lot of life in her! She is currently undergoing a surgery to remove Entiroliths (calcium stones) that could prove fatal if left untreated. Entiroliths can grow quite large and cause blockage in the colon. The picture is of smaller stones she passed, the surgery is to remove the larger ones  that could be fatal.
The surgery is life saving and expensive.
I have always had a lot of animals and feel strongly that some interact with us humans on a higher plane and sensitivity. Raven is one of these special animals. She is a big black beautiful, well loved horse that does give back to the people who know her.
If all goes well, her recovery will take a minimum of three months.
