Fund a Foam

“A dream doesn't become reality through magic; it takes sweat, determination and hard work.”  Leyva Gymnastics Academy (LGA) certainly has been a dream and throughout this past year, everyone involved has devoted their all into making it a reality.  Inspired by the Olympic success of Danell Leyva, those closest to him have created a facility dedicated to giving athletes and families a safe and friendly environment to practice gymnastics.  All through this building process, the LGA gymnasts continued to train at a couple facilities around Miami.  In watching their coaches work hard to realize their dream, the LGA athletes were inspired and decided that they too wanted to be a part of the building process.  Thus, a goal was born. 

The LGA girls have committed to contribute to a part of the gym and have set their intentions on raising funds to complete the pit on their own.  They have held various fundraisers up until now and this is the last step in helping them complete their mission.  In order to fill the pit, the girls need 8,000 foam cubes.  Each foam cube is $3 so even the smallest donation will help them achieve their goal.  



This team has banded together in the face of adversity, uncertainty and when they didn’t have a place to train.  They all accomplished so much this year – both personally and in their athletic achievements.  In the end, they have come out stronger, more determined and unified.  We are proud of our girls and stand behind them in their mission to raise funds for the pit.
