Hi everyone. Jason and I have been struggling to have a baby for the past 6 years. We have done countless rounds of IVF which resulted in an early miscarriage. We have 3 embryos left. This past summer we were all set to implant our embryos when I got the worst news of my life. My 48 year old brother passed suddenly of a heart attack on July 29th 2021. My dad had also been sick with pneumonia and he passed away 3 weeks after my brother on August 16th 2021. The grief has been unbearable but one thing that keeps me going is the hope of building a family. After losing my brother to a heart attack I went to a cardiologist to get checked out. The cardiologist found that I have a partial blockage in two of my arteries and that I'll be fine if I take stabilizing medication. My cardiologist and a high risk obstetrician also told me that it is too risky to carry a baby with this condition. Jason and I can't bear to throw out the embryos that we worked so hard to get for the past 6 years so now we are going to pursue surrogacy. We would be so grateful for any contributions to help us with the high cost of getting a surrogate. Thank you so much for taking the time to listen to our story.
