My name is Natalie Gorshkova and I am helping Malak Abu Saqr raise money for her, her sister, and the rest of her family in Gaza. This is her story:

Hi,

My name is Malak Abu Saqr I am 18 years old , I’m a high school student (Tawjihi) from Gaza.

Since the war started, we lost our home, and now we live in a tent that doesn’t protect us from the cold or the heat.

My sister Janna 14 years old has special needs; she has Down syndrome She was malnourished.and suffers from frequent seizures. She needs constant care. The war has affected her a lot—she cries and screams often.

We have no food, no electricity, no water, and not even a proper place to study.

I try to study by candlelight and dim light.

My siblings had to leave school because of the harsh conditions.

Since the beginning of the war, we left our home and lived in tents for a year and a half. When we returned, we found no home and had to go back to the tents again.

Every day, we live hoping to stay safe. and continue our lives, but life is getting harder.
