Hi friends! I'd like to introduce you to my friend Brooke, a fearless and incredible girl who I met at my Pure Barre studio about 9 or so years ago. She is one of a kind and has been through it all. She has conquered more than most and is at a new crossroads. The health issues don’t end; it’s close to my heart, and I know she deserves all of the help she can get.

Brooke is in the fight of her life. This most recent journey has caused her to be sick for over a year now, and since February, she has been unable to work due to a cascade of debilitating health conditions, including a new chronic Lyme disease and tick-borne encephalitis diagnosis.

Despite her resilience and strength, her body now needs the kind of intensive, specialized treatment that insurance won’t fully cover.

This is someone who has spent her career caring for some of the most vulnerable patients and families and has done so with unwavering grace, empathy, and commitment. Now, she needs our help.

Her path to healing requires immediate treatment that comes with staggering out-of-pocket costs. In just the first few months, her medical bills are expected to exceed $15,000–$20,000. For someone who has always given so much of herself to others, asking for help doesn’t come easily. But we know she would do the same for any one of us without hesitation.
