Support the Shaw Family

If you're lucky enough to know Andy Shaw, you know that he's spent his life in service to his family, his church community, his colleagues, and his friends. He knows no strangers, and he doesn't hesitate to lend a hand to anyone who needs it. If you know Andy, you also know that he gives help without question and that he doesn't readily ask for it. I have created this fundraiser to do so on his behalf.

Andy is an essential worker who owns and operates multiple small-scale animal processing businesses—an often overlooked but critical component of our food-system infrastructure. He has worked tirelessly since the start of pandemic to keep his facilities operational. Seven weeks ago, he was hospitalized with COVID-19, and he has been on a ventilator for the past 6 weeks. Money contributed to this campaign will be given to his family to help with his medical bills and the expenses incurred as they care for him.
