Gus’s surgery and recovery

Hi, my name is Kayla. I have recently run into a life or death situation with my 10 month old munchkin kitten named Gus. I have recently had to vacate my home as it has sold, I move into my new place on April 15th. In the meantime, i have been staying with my boyfriend but unfortunately wasn't able to bring Gus with me as he has 3 dogs already. Thankfully, my sister was able to take him into her care for the time being until i can take him back home with me to our new place. Unfortunately during the time he has been staying with my sister, he got into some mischief, eating buttons and ribbon causing him to become very ill. He stopped eating and was vomiting very frequently. after a quick check up at the vet, it was determined that he needed immediate surgery. Otherwise, he would not make it. I had no other choice but to max out my credit card to save his life. With the cost of living these days on top of moving into my new place, I just feel so financially unstable right now. If anyone is able to donate anything it would be greatly appreciated. Funds will be used to help me get back on my feet. The total cost of the vet bill was $1700. he will need to be taken back to the vet in 12 days to ensure that everything is better. Anything helps!
