I am raising money so that my neighbor/friend Cristina Coria is able to save her home and doesn't have to stress about anything ever again. She is an amazing person and has gone through more than anyone could imagine. She has always been there for us and our family and been there for my mom who has been through a lot herself.
Cristina Coria was a police officer for over 15 years. She has almost lost her life several times while on the job and off. She was hit by a DUI driver and she was shot in the line of Duty and had to medically retire in 2008. She was married and now divorced,yet the only thing she asked for in the divorce was to take over the house. Yet he stopped making payments on house without her knowledge and she was not able to refinance because his name is on loan and he was in default. Since the loan was in his name the judge ordered her ex husband to put her name on title without knowledge of the loan and his default but said if they can't modify they would have to agree to short sale. Cristina has had the worst of luck. She has had neck and back surgery and will possibly be getting another back surgery. She has plates and pins in her left arm and in her neck. Cristina is always so positive and optimistic. She is always trying to help others and is involved in many Charities. She is the kind of person who does not know how to ask for help yet now she definitely needs our help more than anything now. She is trying to save her home but the bank is now starting the foreclosure process. Please help Cristina save her home. She has served her community please help us help her.
