Help Oliver fight FIP

Hey everyone, I’m raising money to purchase the treatment that is needed for my cat, Oliver. Oliver has a very unique, energetic personality. He’s extremely curious and loves to play! He enjoys laying in his hammock basking in the sun looking out of the window. His favorite toy is a bee attached to a string. When people come over, Oliver loves to greet them and hang out with everyone because he wants to be apart of the fun.

Oliver was recently diagnosed with Feline infectious peritonitis (FIP) which is a viral disease caused by a feline coronavirus that affects wild and domestic cats. The dry form of FIP causes infection and inflammatory lesions around the blood vessels in a cat’s body. When a cat gets FIP, it is progressive and almost always fatal. And because of all this I don't want to lose him. He is fighting a tough battle.

FIP has long been considered an untreatable disease. It wasn’t until recently that antiviral drugs were introduced to help treat FIP. These drugs are not yet approved by the FDA. There are groups who are educated and specialize in helping obtain the necessary treatment. The treatment consists of 85 days of injections and is known to have no relapse, but it has a hefty price tag because it’s so difficult to obtain at times.

Those of you who have four legged friends know how important they are to us. They're like family. With some help from people like you, Oliver has a chance.

Update on Oliver:

Oliver is doing great! He’s more energetic and seems full of life again. He’s gained back all of the weight that he lost and is continuing to get better every day that passes. Soon, Oliver will be able to live his happy normal live again! Since the treatment is still very expensive, donations to Oliver’s gofund me are extremely appreciated!
