A new start for a better life!

Greetings, I'm a single mom (typical story) however I was severely abused and have a broken back. I am trying to get out of the convelecent hospital and be reunited with my 11 yr old son. Between surgeries and basic medical care and life choices I lost pretty much everything. I've always worked and been able to provide everything I or my children needed, but trying to start over on SSI is  proving to be impossible. So after some thought and prayers I decided to ask for help. I'm raising money for the following reasons: 1) housing, basic ol' roof over our heads 2) interior decorating. I'd like my son to have real bed and get to pick his own bedding set and colors. I'm going to need a special bed for my back etc. 3) clothing, I've lived in hospital gowns the last couple years and my son is always growing and needing new stuff. 4) transportation, bus fare adds up! 5) laundry 6) a pet, I'd love to let my son get a dog once we've found a place. Anyway, I think I've included some ideas of why I'm asking for money. I should also mention that I'm trying to learn to sew, then maybe i can start a side business or something. It's ironic because at the convelecent hospital I've started several Bible studies for the seniors, and helped them make crafts for every season... Now I'm praying for help during my season of moving forward and back onto my own. Thank you, and God Bless, Alisha
