Hi, I am Jennifer and those of you that do not know my partner Kevin was diagnosed with metastatic squamous cell cancer of the tonsil with multiple lymph nodes infected. This cancer is highly treatable but the road will be difficult and long with surgery and 5x a week radiation. Kevin works for the Union and as some may know while it has its amazing benefits, when you don’t work you don’t get paid. There is no PTO or sick time. Kevin has had to take so many days off work already for Dr appts and we haven’t even started treatment yet. There has already been a huge decline in our financial burden as my job is just not enough to keep our family afloat. We have 6 kids to support with the youngest being almost 2.

The funds will be used for our family to stay in our home , any unpaid medical bills Kevin may have and our 6 children who have been so emotionally affected by their father’s diagnosis. Our family could use all the help you could possibly give, even if it’s meals for the kids or help to keep the kids happy.

Kevin will be receiving many treatments and testing that will tremendously impact his day to day living along with our children and myself. However, these treatments may not all be covered by insurance. Our family has quickly developed financial struggles even paying utilities and providing food for our family.

The world needs more people in it that live and love the way Kevin does he is selfishly concerned more about myself and the 6 children. Please help in anyway you can to take some of this burden off of Kevin so he can concentrate on his medical needs . He is ready to fight and would never ask for help himself so we are asking for him and our family .
