Help To Avoid Homelessness and Survive

Hi, I'm Michael. I am a dad, friend, writer, hard working sports journalist, as well as a current gig worker trying to survive in a new city and avoid homelessness in the Midwest. A while ago, I lost my full-time job after having emergency surgery and recovery, and life hasn't been the same since. These last 6 months, I have been essentially homeless, lost multiple close family members to death, and had to relocate twice to try and be in my baby's life. It has not been an easy go, especially with the lack of sufficient work. I've done a lot of gig work, reached out to many people, have created networking connections, etc... to no avail unfortunately. I keep fighting and going with the hopes I will survive and maintain and eventually things will get back to normal.

Physically, I've recently started to feel close to 100% again, after not feeling that way for a while after surgery. A month long hospital stay changed my life forever. It hasn't been a great last few months.

As of now, I am currently in an AirBNB, but that current one expires April 25th. I am in need of hitting a goal by the 24th so I can find a way to rent another BNB to survive and avoid homelessness. I do have a freelance writing gig that pays once a month, which is why Im able to still be in here currently. That check however is all gone. I am currently looking for a full-time job. When that happens, I can breathe again and won't need help.

The freelance writing gig at the moment is not enough to cover a full month and I only get paid once a month. I do not have the luxury of family and friends locally who can help me, assist, or provide a place to stay because I don't know anyone here like that so far. That is why I am here seeking any help. Things have not been the best, but I truly believe things will get better soon. Any help you can lend to help me reach this goal to secure the Air BNB through the next month would be extremely appreciated.

That's why I am here seeking help, seeking work, trying to survive. I need help. I need the right job to get me out of this hole, so I'm not fighting the same battles. But I need help to survive while that is ongoing. Please consider helping. Please share this as well.
