Help Save Margo — A Loving German Shepherd Who Deserves Her Chance

Margo needs your help to attend a board and train program that could save her life.

Margo is a three-year-old German shepard whofound herself at Ventura County Animal Services (VCAS) through no fault of her own. She was adopted into a loving home, but her family struggled with her mouthiness — a common German Shepherd trait — and didn’t know how to handle it. Sadly, Margo was returned to the shelter.

Due to a miscommunication, Margo wasn’t taken out of her kennel for nearly three weeks, despite her friendly personality. On November 12, 2025, VCAS made the decision to euthanize her the next morning. Thanks to the tireless work of volunteers and rescuers, a plan came together just in time to pull her from the shelter and send her to training — but we need your help to make it happen.

The board and train program costs $2,000, and because of the short notice, the rescue wasn’t prepared for this expense. Your donation will go directly toward giving Margo the training and structure she needs to thrive — and ultimately find her forever home.

Margo has no bite history. Volunteers who’ve spent time with her describe her as sweet, happy, and eager to please, with a wagging tail and a gentle mouth when taking treats. She already knows a few commands, like “sit,” and just needs a little guidance to become her best self.

Every dollar helps bring Margo closer to her second chance. Please donate, share, and help us show Margo that she’s loved and worth saving.

❤️ Thank you for coming together to save margo
