Today, September 8th, 2018, Denisa, 25 years old, lost her battle with leukemia that she has fought for 13 years. Denisa and her mother came to MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas, from Romania, three months ago, in hopes of finding a cure. Six weeks ago Denisa was hospitalized and she never left the care facility since.
Denisa finished her third year of Medical School at Oradea Medical University in Romania. She wanted to be a hematologist, to help others fight cancer, with strength and hope, just like she did...she fought cancer three times, but cancer won the fourth time around...
Denisa passed away in the hospital with her mother by her side. In order for her to have a proper funeral, she needs to be transported back to Romania. we started this campaign to help our beloved Denisa and her grieving mother get back home, to Romania, from United States. Any donations are greatly appreciated!
