Love, Hugs and Support for the Walkers

As you know, the Walker family suffered a tremendous loss with the passing of their beloved father and husband, Bill Walker.  Tanya and Bill are both known throughout the community for their love and devotion to their children (Lee, age 12; Brian, age 10; Ella, age 8 and Will, Age 8 and Kel Tyler).  Bill volunteered and coached many of the kids’ sports teams and Tanya has been an avid, and cherished, volunteer at Antioch Elementary and Weddington Middle School.

Bill loved his family immensely and his unexpected passing has devastated them all.  Currently, Tanya is taking one day at a time and continues to focus on her children as they grieve and adjust to their new normal.   This is going to be an emotional transition, as many of us can only imagine.  She has expressed how beyond grateful she is for her “village” in response to the outpouring of love the family has received thus far.    It is truly amazing to see the number of concerned friends who have expressed genuine interest in helping Tanya.  Therefore, we have created this platform for contributions to assist Tanya during the weeks and months ahead.
