A fire recently tore through my home and took everything I owned with it. Within minutes, years of memories, personal belongings, and the place I called home were reduced to ashes. I am incredibly grateful to be alive, but the loss is overwhelming. I’m now left without a roof over my head, without clothes beyond what I had on, and without the basic essentials needed to get by day to day.
