Hi everyone, I have setup this fundraiser to help raise money for Jessica’s Lyme Treatment.
Jessica has been to countless doctors and tried numerous therapies to rid this nasty disease from her body. Some have provided relief, but only temporary. This has been ongoing since 2007 and symptoms had only progressed over time especially after a mold exposure last year.
While others have made no change and we have spent thousands over the last few years with different practitioners, (Most of these treatments are not covered by insurance sadly, so it’s out of pocket costs). Most recently Jessica’s breathing has become a lot worse, and difficult to do simple daily tasks. We’re at the point of desperation.
Jessica has been praying that the Lord would open the right doors for her to find the treatment she needs. We think He has opened that door. A doctor in Wisconsin has a new treatment plan that has been successful for many patients like Jessica. The program would include us traveling there and spending a few days with the doctor as he runs tests, performs therapies and prescribes a regimen. This program (also not accepted by insurance) is $3,500. We have already placed a $500 deposit to hold Jessica’s spot. That was basically our entire savings. We are humbly stepping out in faith to get her well again.
Personally, this is really tough for me ask for help, especially when it comes to asking for money. However, getting Jessica well again is above that.
It’s been a rough road for our family for the past few years. Seeing her struggle has been a huge pain in my heart. I wish I could simply take it all away from her, and carry all of it for her. This treatment is the best thing we’ve come across.
