Manuel Emilio is an incredible young man, an affectionate son, a loving big brother, a loyal friend, and a hardworking and competitive strategist. At 28 years old, he always goes above and beyond to help others. Manuel Emilio is always planning something new in which to invest his energy. His sales team at work calls him 'The Shark' and considers him a role model based on his discipline and responsiveness tactics. He's accomplished and finished #1 from the sales team in the last quarter.

One of his passions is biking, but unfortunately, over a month ago, while out with some friends practicing his hobby, he got involved in a tragic motorbike accident, and he's still hospitalized. He ended up with both legs fractured, jaw fractured, cranial trauma, pneumothorax, and bruises all over his body. His open wound in the right astragalus got infected with a bacteria called gas gangrene, and his right leg was amputated during a life-or-death situation.

He almost died twice and, was placed in ICU, was in a coma for 10 days with septic and hypovolemic shocks. He went into cardiac arrest, renal and respiratory failure, was intubated and connected to life support and mechanical ventilation, receiving dialysis to clean his blood and VAC Therapy in his amputated leg. Basically, he's reborn. Besides prayers, It really helped that Manuel Emilio was very healthy and strong. Otherwise, he wouldn't make it. Doctors are cheering up for him. He survived a condition where only 2% of people worldwide survive, they said.

Days later had a hemorrhage from the open wound in the right leg. He lost 800cc of blood in a few hours. He was finally discharged after 3 weeks in a trauma hospital, and 5 days later, was back into another one,

He developed pressure ulcers while in ICU and was infected with a very resistant interhospital bacteria, so he's now hospitalized in another place, being seen by different specialists: infectology, surgeons, orthopedia, urologist, cardiology, GI, etc. All the trauma created other issues: high blood pressure, palpitations, incontinence, etc. he's being treated for all as well. His left leg is fractured, and he might need another surgery. He has K-wires in the astragalus, but his tibia and perone are also damaged. All these injuries will affect him permanently, and it's a life-changing challenge ahead for him.

Now, it's just a matter of time and antibiotics to fight the bacteria and get better. The rest is fixable. I'm sure he will be okay soon. We need your help and contributions to support his recovery with all the medical bills, medical supplies, physical and mental therapies, prostheses, and professional services needed.

It's been a rollercoaster of emotions and trauma. I'm positive God has a purpose for him, and this process will be a powerful testimony that will impact many lives. It's a test of faith, survival, and resilience, even though the recovery process is slow and requires a lot of love and patience.

We will be forever grateful for any contribution you can make to help him recover and get back on his feet.

Thank you in advance for your kindness, generosity, and support. We will keep you in our prayers. God bless you abundantly.
