It is with a heavy heart that I write this; however, I have had serval friends and family members asking how they can help.Sunday night (September 2nd) my uncle Rick Lacey and His wife were involved in a tragic car accident. Although Ann (my Aunt) survived, Rick was not so fortunate. This is an extremely tough time for his family and those who know him. . There has been a great outpouring of sympathy from all corners, and we are all very touched by everyone’s care and concern. I will always remember Rick as a devoted father, fun guy to be around, and friend of the friendless. He was a really smart guy who loved to read and had an extraordinary vocabulary, but somehow he never was able to translate his assets into a career worthy of his talent. Instead he worked blue collar jobs as a machinist and truck driver. But whatever he did, he did with dignity and humility. He always saw the nobility of honest work and went out of his way to brighten the lives of the people he worked with.Anyone who would like to donate to help with the funeral or memorial cost. It would be greatly appreciated. All donations will go to the Rick and Ann Family to help with this burden.RIP Uncle Rick.
