Rebuiling After House Fire

Dear friends, we are writing today to ask you to support our mother if you have the financial ability. Her home was significantly damaged in a fire, and she lost all her belongings. She lives in Puerto Rico, and as you are likely aware, the island does not have the same resources or insurance available as the USA, so covering the repair cost can be extremely taxing. Our mother is 66 years old, lives alone, and does not have anyone to help support her financially.
