Hi, this is Kaija. She’s a year and a half, and has broken her leg. She is extremely smart, willing, and wants to please. We adopted her when she was 9 months old, and she settled right into the family. She cuddles with and cleans my yellow labs face daily. Her play drive is the strongest I’ve ever worked with, and she’s not staying still enough to let the leg heal correctly. After the trip to the emergency room, 6 vet checkups, and meds, I have completely exhausted my savings and bill money. I want to do what’s right by her, and surgery would be the best, per the vet. However, the estimated 3000 dollar price tag is well out of my reach. I’ve never done a GoFundMe before, but I’m hoping animal lovers like myself can help me out.
