Last night a good friend and colleague of ours, Loren Davy and his wife Sara Stafford Davy, were involved in a tragic vehicle accident in Monahans, Texas. This accident resulted in the passing of Loren’s beautiful wife, Sara. Both Loren and Sara are well known, loved and respected in the medical and aviation community around the Permian Basin, West Texas and beyond. Loren is one of our amazing Helicopter EMS Pilots for our MTC/AeroCare #5 Base in Odessa, Texas. Sara was a Flight Paramedic for CareStar in Odessa before becoming a Registered Nurse. Sara was currently employed as an RN at Odessa Regional Medical Center. She previously worked at Ward Memorial Hospital in Monahans, wearing multiple hats in the ER and trauma department. Loren and Sara have two awesome little boys, Luke who is 9 and Jake who is 6. Loren and these boys were the center piece of love, happiness and joy to Sara. Both Sara and Loren have dedicated much of their professional careers to helping those in need. But more importantly, they have given even more of their personal time and finances helping those in need. Now it is our turn to help their family during this terribly tragic time.
