If you know me, you'll know that running has never really been my thing. In fact, taking on an ultra marathon was probably one of the last things I ever imagined myself doing.
But this October, I'm stepping outside my comfort zone and taking on an ultra marathon with under 16 weeks to prepare, all in support of Movember.
This challenge is about much more than running. It's about resilience, pushing through discomfort, and supporting a cause that impacts millions of men and their families around the world.
The reality is that men's health remains one of the biggest challenges of our time. Globally, one man dies by suicide every minute, and too many men are still suffering in silence.
Movember is working to change that by funding critical programs in mental health and suicide prevention, prostate cancer, and testicular cancer, while encouraging men to have the conversations that could save lives.
Over the coming weeks, there will be tough days, early mornings, and moments where I'll question why I signed up for this in the first place. But if this challenge helps raise awareness, start meaningful conversations, and support Movember's life-changing work, then every step will be worth it.
Any donation, big or small, will make a difference. Thank you for supporting me, supporting Movember, and helping create a world where men live happier, healthier, and longer lives.
