60km bike ride in Spain with 1000m elevation gain for BWB

Hi, my name is Jaden, and I play for BWB's under 11’s football team.

BWB is a district team offering not only a free training programme but also the opportunity to play in tournaments all around the world.

BWB is not just about a ball, we come together to play football whilst recognising BWB’s four core values; responsibility, compassion, curiosity and resilience.

This is where the Find Value project comes in. I have been tasked with raising money for the BWB charity, using these values. Not only do I benefit from the training programme, but I learn something whilst doing it. I learn about myself, the value of money and the meaning of values.

This is important to me because I am lucky enough to have this opportunity, I love football and the training I am given every week, I have had incredible opportunities travelling abroad playing against overseas teams. This year I have been to Sweden already and I’m going to Holland and Germany in May and June.

BWB relies on fundraising so I’m doing my bit to ensure the club can continue to train people like me in the future.

I will be cycling 60km in Spain with a 1000m elevation gain.

I will be completing my bike ride on Sunday 6th April 2025. My baby brother Rio is going to come too on my Mums bike to support me along with my Grandma, Grandad, Ian and Olivia.
