60k cycle (Taunton flyer) for BEAT

As some of you may be aware my partner Erin has been suffering with anorexia. She is currently in her second inpatient admission and is progressing towards her recovery. It’s been an extremely difficult 2 years for her and all her friends and family, but her strength, determination and courage to do her best each and everyday is inspiring and I’m so proud of how far she has come so far.

I have entered the Taunton flyer which is a 60km cycle to raise money for Beat which is a leading eating disorder charity. They have great information and support for people suffering with eating disorders and their families and friends. All eating disorders are very complex and different and for people who haven’t suffered they can be very confusing. Beat have helped me to learn to understand more about eating disorders and ways I can help to support Erin throughout her recovery. They also have a very proactive approach to political changes that are affecting people who suffer with eating disorders.

Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.
More information about Beat (Formerly Eating Disorders Association): Beat is the UK's eating disorder charity. Our purpose is to end the pain and suffering caused by eating disorders. We do this by working directly with sufferers and their families, and by using that experience to highlight the challenges they face and campaign for change.
Our vision is a society where people with eating disorders experience care and understanding, and where they can quickly access treatment that supports a rapid and sustained recovery.
