Our son Jonathan was involved in an ATV(4 Wheeler) accident on Tuesday 8/21/18. He was volunteering on a local family farm when he was thrown from the ATV. He feel down a 20 foot ravine onto broken cement and bricks. Shortly after he was Air Lifted from Vermillion, SD to Sioux Falls, SD. He was taken to the Sanford Children's Pediatric ICU. He has been under sedation with a breathing and feeding tube in since that day. He has a broke right arm, bruised lung, and severe brain trauma. He went into and by the grace of God survived his first round of Neuro Surgery on Tuesday night, removing some pieces of fractured skull from his brain. He is expected to be in the ICU for a few weeks, plus months of hospitalization, and rehabilitation. We have a long expensive road ahead of us. Thank you all for your help, thoughts and prayers. We will keep fighting and bring him home!
