600 people needed for Daniel

Donation protected
At this time of the year many charities are receiving donations, and that is a wonderful thing. Especially, in this year of VIRUS deaths and sickness.  But, there are many people who do not qualify for these charities.  They are hard workers and for some reason or other they don't qualify.  They just fall through the cracks in the system.   This is the case of one 71 yr old gentleman named Daniel.  In the 1970's, he was a man in blue working as a Seattle Police Officer.  After leaving the police force, he worked in a couple other fields of employment until finally retiring in 2012 due to cancer.   In his retirement years, he is building rustic furniture and sell it at the home and garden shows, fairs and other venues in his county of resident.  This helped to supplement his  low SSI income. He does get a small pension of $35.50 a month which is a tank of gas for the month.  He is one of the hard working Americans that live at the "abject poverty"  line a year...He does not do drugs or has a mental issue, he is just a hardworking elderly person...Funny, is if he had some of those issues , there are lots of organizations that work with them and help. But, he doesn't and that is why, I am hoping to raise enough funds for this gentleman so that he doesn't lose his home.  Due to COVID-19 all the places where he could sell his furniture were closed and still haven't opened to the public.  He is now behind several months in his mortgage at WF and may lose his home and workshop.  He was able to hold out at the beginning but his savings are all gone now and still nothing is being opened up for him to sell his wonderful furniture pieces.  He does sell a few things on Offer Up but since the virus hit, he has lost the income that supplemented his cost of living each month.   He put his bills into a credit counseling company to help but he is having a real rough time of things.  He is one of those that will fall through the crack if we all don't reach out and help.  I am just looking for 600 people who can donate $5 to his fund, the cost of a fancy coffee.  There are many people just like Daniel that are in the same situation, please drink a glass of water and forego your coffee for Daniel so he can get his house out danger and not have to be so worried and stressed out.  Thank you for your time in reading my story of help...

UPDATE: 01/14/2021  Daniel rec'd a letter today saying that the WASHINGTON Home and Garden shows that he would sell at has cancelled all their 2021 dates due to government restrictions again...This fallout from the COVID-19 is just destroying people's life...
