As I approach 60, I wanted to honor this gift by doing things that connect me to people, places, and causes that matter to me. What better way to do this than a fundraising walk/hike/run? My goal is to raise funds to protect our environment, enjoy the gift of movement, and spend time with friends along the way. I plan to walk/hike/run 600 miles by the time I reach my 60th on Nov 11th. Will you join me in raising funds for this importance cause (and bonus if you want to join me for some time in nature)?

All funds will go directly to Natural Resources Defense Council, a top-rated charity whose mission is to safeguard the Earth, its people, its plants and animals and the natural systems on which all life depends.
