60 miles for Debi's 60th
Donation protected
Many of you may not be aware that my mum has been living with Parkinson's for the past 7 years. This came as a big shock to our family, but day after day my amazing mum has been determined to continue with her life as normal. Be that running her own company or spending hours perfecting her garden on the weekend, she hasn't let this condition take control.
As her 60th birthday approaches (although she doesn't look it) she has asked that instead of birthday presents that people make donations to Parkinson's research. So with that in mind I will be running 60 miles in March for her 60th birthday as a surprise. This may not seem that far for some people but for someone with zero training, this will be a challenge for me.
We are grateful for every single donation, big or small. Even if a donation can't be made, sharing our short story to help raise awareness for the charity would be hugely appreciated!
