Cystic Fibrosis Awareness Day is 10th April.  This year we are unable to raise much-needed funds in the traditional way so to reflect 65 Roses, Michael Littleton & Mick Daly along with others are taking part in a challenge - 6k run every 5 hours over the day.

The 6k route will be in the Riverwood / Carpenterstown area and the first run is Friday at 12am then 5am, 10am, 3pm and final one at 8pm.

Cystic Fibrosis (CF) is an inherited condition that primarily affects the lungs and digestive system.  Ireland has the highest incidence of Cystic Fibrosis in the world – approximately 1 in 19 Irish people are said to 'carry' one copy of the altered gene that causes CF.

Cystic Fibrosis Ireland Dublin west branch supports local families from Dublin 15 and surrounding areas who has Cystic Fibrosis such as:

Providing a range of support services and grants to persons with cystic fibrosis (CF) and their families in the Dublin region, including Exercise grants, Fertility, education, counselling, vaccines, hospital expenses, vogmasks etc…

The generous support and efforts of our voluntary fundraisers and donors makes the provision of these services possible. Please be assured that you have made a difference to CF in the Dublin west area.

Your support for this very worthy charity would be greatly appreciated.
