If you had only six seconds left with someone you love, how would you spend them?

Hi we are the team behind 6 seconds and this July in Norfolk we are making a experimental short film, we are young driven film makers from across the country but even as film makers starting out we have been building our skills to our biggest short film yet. Earlier this year our director Noah Boyce's short film ' Blocked Together' got selected to be part of the Slam dance film festival.

' With their coma-induced father now terminally ill, two siblings quarrel over switching off life support. But at the chance of having six final seconds with his conscious father, the young and bafflingly awkward brother tries to contemplate what he might say before the end.'

That's the logline but their is even more! The film makes use of a highly experimental editing style with each shot lasting for exactly six seconds.

Here is the incredible team behind the 6 seconds :

Writer / Director - Noah Boyce

Hey I'm Noah, I'm the writer and director of The Six Seconds. Throughout my life, I don't think I've ever been able to stop telling stories and a deep passion for travelling and social action. I love playing around with little puzzles and try to use stories to unite people together with unique perspectives of this funny little world we all live in.

Producer - Toby Lee

Hi I'm Toby Lee, I am 17 years old and a aspiring Film & HETV Producer and episodic television director. I am one of the producers for this great short film, that I am so exited to be on this brilliant journey with this incredible crew, When firstly speaking about the idea of this film from director Noah months ago, I was so eager to help craft this film. Me and Noah met at the NFTS BFI Craft skills course in 2024, where I felt our personality's clicked through our brief encounters with each other. I cant wait for everyone to see this film!

Producer / AD - Fin Golec

Hi I’m Finley Golec I’m 17 year old, I am an indie filmmaker but also the AD and one of the producers on this film.
I am looking forward to getting to work with everyone on this film and be apart of a indie film crew for the second time. And getting to work with Noah Boyce again as I always enjoy working on any of his films.

Assistant Director - Tom Hare

My name is Tom Hare, and I’m 16 years old. I’ve been passionate about filmmaking, acting, and directing from a very young age. Over the years, I’ve taken part in local theatre productions and created my own short films with friends from the area. Through these experiences, I had the privilege of meeting Noah Boyce, who kindly offered me the role of Assistant Director on The Six Seconds. I’m incredibly excited to be part of this project—not only to gain valuable hands-on experience, but also to continue learning about the creative and technical aspects that go into film production.

Camera Crew

My name is Casper Mayers and I am 16 years old. I have always enjoyed watching films of all sorts either at the cinema or at home; I found passion in short form film a few years ago, diving into the idea behind being able to tell stories within such a short time frame. I have continued to pursue this and now I am currently working on a project called ‘The Six Seconds’ with director Noah Boyce. I will consistently and constantly be looking for new creative opportunities to work with other people either on screen or off screen.

My name is Tilly McKenzie,I am 17 years old doing creative media level 3 at city college. I have always loved films and creating short stories, using many different forms of storytelling via social media since I was younger. I am a major horror movie enthusiast and hope to direct And create a short horror movie in the next few years. Currently I am working on “The Six Seconds” a project built by newly emerging filmmakers, which I am so grateful and excited to be a part of as a camera operator. I hope to progress and be a part of the film industry when I grow up - I will continue to create and take part in as many projects I can, and look forward to working with other passionate filmmakers.

Hi I am Ben and I am a creative Media level 3 student at city college Norwich and I am a part of the camera team on this new short film project, I have had experience working with cameras and have made an advert, helped make a music video, made an audio package for the BBC, took directive lead on a TV production and made a promotional video for a tattoo studio all in my time as a media student. I am ambitious and excited to work on this short film with a great crew of people and hoping to be able to get some really good experience from this and hopefully be able to learn from this for my future in the media industry

As our most ambitious project yet, this is why we are calling out to you, our audience to back this film, with us wanting to have 3 shoot days, plus a prep day so we can properly execute this film to how good we know it can be with our 6 second per shot editing style to fully tell this story to the limit, however this means we have more expenses including food for our cast & crew, props, being able to pay cast, as our film is dialogue heavy, and finally to truly show the world what the film is by giving it a festival run.

GoFundMe doesn't allow gifts, however we want to give something back so if you donate, you can either DM us on Instagram at : @Thesixsecondsfilm or contact us via GoFundMe with confirmation of your donation where :
