6 black individuals with housing insecurity

My name is JB. I have been struggling with making ends meet since I've been between jobs since this summer of 2023. My cat Gemma has very severe dental issues and will likely need mouth surgery. I also pay for her expensive food diet that is for her digestive health. She has a hernia that causes her throw up at times if i do not feed her slowly and periodically. Due to being unemployed I am now able to soothe and reassure her to the point where she has less anxiety and stomach issues while I am home. But she is suffering from the pain in he mouth from the plaque.

With my learning and physical disabilities it's often hard for me to find a job due to chronic daily back pain and ADHD/OCD I struggle with daily tasks and have intense social anxiety. I am now able to soothe myself and work as I can from home.

Our apartment was broken into in September 2023 while we were asleep. A person came in and stole things early in the morning. And we lost important documents that need to be replaced. And lost money.

I am making this go-fund me because I am also supporting my roommates, my friends, and an unhoused friend. We heavily rely on other to make ends meet. Often sharing food, toiletries, and gas money. We rely weekly on the food shelf and other free resources in town.

I rely on my one friend who wished to be unnamed for this, for ride to medical appointments, grocery shopping and whatever other life finances. They are struggling with maintaining and fixing their car due to lack of funds, Last year they were caring for their cat who had very expensive medical cost. Which originally pushed them to financial insecurity.

We are currently having housing insecurity due to a matter that spread.

Our unhoused friend is Liv. Liv is an unhoused Black young adult. They are kind, protective, and selfless. They need help with funds right now. For first and last months' rent, a security deposit, food, uber money, clothes, as well as personal items.
