6 Almena households need your help!

Hi, my name is Olivia Gunther and On Wednesday night my friends and their neighbors among others in the area were all heavily impacted from the remnants of Hurricane Ida. The water level rose so fast it pushed in garage doors totally submerging cars, basements, living spaces, with over five feet of rushing water in less than an hour. The sewers in Ardsley were unable to contain the amount of water coming down the hills. As families were rushing to help and try to prevent the damage of the impending flood waters it overwhelmed there efforts. Families lost everything people’s apartments are now gone. These 6 families have been working tirelessly trying to clean up. You only have to drive down the street to see the damage to these homes and the total losses of everything. Unfortunately none of this damage is covered by home owners insurance because it is considered a “flood”. Any donations big or small would be greatly appreciated so these families could begin to rebuild.
