Bryan , who is 28 years old was born & raised in Chatham/Madison New Jersey with his sister Cassandra & brother Anthony.   Sadly, early in their lives their mom passed away from cancer. Bryan & Cassie moved to Wanaque New Jersey with their dad, Tom Louis. They graduated together from Lakeland Regional High School. Bryan went on to attend Lincoln Tech and became a certified auto mechanic. He was working for Wayne Lincoln Mercury when he became ill with a cough & trouble breathing in August. A local emergency dept. diagnosed him with pneumonia, however 2 weeks later his symptoms did not improve. The emergency room then ran a ctscan and detected a tumor in Bryan's lung. The family transported him to Hackensack Hospital where they admitted him for 2 weeks for further testing. He was diagnosed with Nut Mildine Carcinoma, a very rare aggressive cancer. He began chemo sessions while in the hospital in September, was released to go home to continue the chemotherapy as an outpatient. Unfortunately, in October we were told the chemo was not working as well as they hoped and were advised to seek advice from  Dana Farber Cancer Center in Boston. Our next step is to seek treatment at Dana Farber in Boston who specializes in Nut Midline Carcinoma and offers clinical trials specifically for this cancer.  Bryan has not been able to work since August. Although he has health insurance, it has not covered all the costs. There will be additional costs with lodging, food & medical costs while staying in Boston.  The family has helped tremendously with the finances, but they may not be able to work during his treatments at Dana Farber as they will be staying with Bryan the whole time. If you could help, any amount ,it would be so much appreciated and helpful to Bryan and his family.  Bryan is a quite, caring and loving person who has worked hard as an auto mechanic and so loved by family. Always a pleasant person to be around.  Our hope is that someday, with this trial, that Bryan can get back to his passion of working on cars, riding his motorcycle, hanging out with friends, tinkering in the garage and restoring a car he bought all by himself
