In loving memory of Trevor Coombs

Following the tragic and unexpected passing of Trevor Coombs, we have been overwhelmed by the masses of kind messages support and offers of help. Hayley and the boys were his world but he was also an amazing brother, uncle, son and friend to so many and loved by all...Trev will be deeply missed and our worlds will never be the same.
Unlike many illnesses depression is something you cannot see and for many of us we cannot begin to understand. Trev was a highly intelligent man, a man that lit up the room with his humour, love of music and eternal passion for sport (especially Man United!!) and his love for the ocean (Ocean swims, snorkelling, kayaking, SUPing, fishing, scuba diving and swimming with his family). Trev was doing all the right things, in seeking support, but no-one knew the true extent of the fog that had fallen upon him. If anything good can come from this, it will be that we raise some awareness and get more sufferers and their families to speak out sooner rather than later and not be ashamed to seek help. We will never know the real reasons as to why he took this final step. The illness got the better of him. May he now be at peace.
In lieu of flowers or gifts, the Coombs and Whittaker families ask for any donations to be made here to help support Trev's loving wife Hayley and their two beautiful boys, Soul and Marley, at this heart breaking time. All donations will go directly to Hayley and the boys for their future and allow her and the family to grieve through this extremely difficult time.
This has been a huge shock for everybody and still doesn't feel real. We really appreciate everyone pulling together in Trev's honour.
Trev's service and celebration of life will take place on 10th March. For more information please contact me and/or Gary. For those unable to make the funeral in Australia we have also arranged for the ceremony to be streamed live via
