Bark Inn Kennels rehoming block refurbishment

Hi im Michelle from Bark Inn Kennels Greyhound rehoming centre and we need your help so we can continue to take in greyhounds and to continue rehoming this wonderful breed.

Our kennel block for our rehomers desperately needs new kennel fronts and doors as it has now got to a point where we are now not able to use some of our kennels due to them being unsafe.

We don't normally ask for any help but I'm concerned we may not be able to continue to rehome and find greys there forever homes much longer due to wear and tear of the kennel fronts.

Thr fitments were there when I started to rent the kennels over 8 years ago and were probably there a while before then.

We have had quotes which range from £5600 plus vat to £8000.

This would be for 12 kennels with space for 21 greys and at the moment we can only take 8 which means we have to say no to helping more greys to stay with us while they wait for there forever home as we are unable to use the unsafe kennels in the block.

We have tried to apply for a grant but we do not fit the criteria which is disappointing.

If anyone can help to donate we would really appreciate it as the last thing Bark Inn wants to do is turn away greys that need our help to have somewhere safe to stay and to give them the love and care while they wait for there forever home.
