After a 30+ day hospital stay due to complications from her most recent spinal surgery, Victoria and her family have been left with mounting medical expenses. Victoria is facing months of rehabilitation and costly medications. We have set up this Gofundme to help lessen the financial burden Victoria and her family are facing.

Victoria has big plans for her future... Jacksonville University, Medical School and someday working alongside her Neurosurgeon Dr. Fried. As a result of her Spina Bifida Diagnosis, Victoria has endured countless surgeries all while excelling in school and never missing a beat. She was featured in a recent news article discussing how her medical diagnosis has been the impetus for her career path. (Read the article here ).

Victoria was also the very first honoree of the Brave Minds Project in April of 2019. BMP works to raise awareness for patients and their families diagnosed with brain and brain stem conditions. She had the opportunity to meet with other spina bifida survivors and to share her story of empowerment.
