Battling Avascular Necrosis, Full Spine Degeneration & rare autoimmune disorders (UCTD and APLS). Seeking help for surgery & recovery for a family friend.

Hello, I am raising funds for a family friend who's been diagnosed with avascular necrosis, full spine degeneration, and autoimmune disorders Undifferentiated Connective Tissue Disease (UCTD) and Antiphospholipid Syndrome (APLS) at the beginning of this year.

He was once active, hardworking, and full of dreams, building his life through dedication and consistency. But today, every step he takes feels like bone grinding against bone.

He's now fighting to walk again after being diagnosed with:

-Full spine degeneration (L1–L5) – He's had a major back surgery in 2024, but has relapsed since the beginning of this year.

-Avascular Necrosis in both hips – the bones are dying due to loss of blood flow.

-Autoimmune diseases (APLS, UCTD) and a bone-marrow disorder that thickens the blood and worsens recovery.

Further, he's already had core decompression surgery on his left hip, but now urgently requires bilateral hip replacements to regain mobility.

The cost towards surgeries is CAD $20, 000, and an additional CAD $10,000 for rehab and medical expenses.

He lives with constant, severe pain — sitting, standing, or even lying down hurts.
