Raising Funds for College

Hello,

My name is Imari Williams. I am an incoming student to Mount Holyoke, as well as the cousin of an alumni. Through my college application process, I had a few difficulties getting into Mount Holyoke. With the help of my cousin and other fellow Mount Holyoke Alums, I was able to continue through my application and get accepted. I am very grateful for all of the help that I was able to receive.

Now that I have been accepted, I have a few obstacles that I am facing, such as paying for my first two semesters. The package that I was awarded unfortunately is not enough to cover the full amount of my tuition. The balance per semester is $900. The first payment is due by July 31st. I am also having trouble getting the money for a computer, supplies, and traveling expenses as I am coming from Florida.

If possible, I’d like to raise money to go towards my tuition and other expenses. If anyone knows of any scholarships or job opportunities that would also be helpful. I would greatly appreciate any help or advice provided. Thank you.
