Hi, my name is Jennifer Gamble, mother to Maci Gamble local to the Potter Valley 4H club. Maci unfortunately lost her steer, Champ, yesterday, May 4th due to reasons we are not certain about yet. Champ was seen by the vet multiple times as he seemed to be getting better but unfortunately we couldn’t save him. He had actually been taken to UC Davis for further testing & research for scientific purposes. Which leaves Maci with multiple vet bills, a loan for purchasing Champ in the beginning and a feed bill starting from October of 2022. Maci is heartbroken to not be able to attend the Redwood Empire Fair in Ukiah, Ca without Champ. Maci’s is a solid student, athlete and 4H member who would greatly appreciate any help into financial relief. Thank you for taking the time to reading this and we hope next year is Maci’s year.
