Rainbows For Georgie
On 7th June 2020, the Malan family gave birth to a beautiful girl named Georgie Louise at 37 weeks gestation. She was born still. Her family including her two older sisters were awaiting her arrival eagerly, only to be told she wasn't coming home.
Rainbows for Georgie is an annual event organized by the Malan family to bring about awareness and much-needed funds for Stillbirth Foundation Australia and every donation will help. Every day in Australia 6 babies are born still. Of these babies, 40% of families will never know the reason why their precious baby died. This number has been unchanged for 20 years. Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me and is so close to my heart.
The Stillbirth Foundation is Australia's only dedicated charity to funding research into the causes and prevention of stillbirth. We are 100% community-funded and advocate for bereaved parents and their families.
