Please help with Donna's recovery

I'm Ashley Schrantz, Donna Wisniewski's daughter. My sister Andrea and I are asking for your help. On February 25th, our mother Donna was taken to brooks hospital and learned that her appendix had burst. The following day she had to have surgery to remove the appendix. A couple days after the surgery, she had developed pneumonia in both lungs and an ecoli infection due to her appendix bursting. Several antibiotics were given and she was placed on a bipap because her breathing got worse. On the morning of Saturday, March 4th, she coded and had to be placed on a ventilator. After about a week being on the ventilator, the staff had her breathing on her own for a few hours at a time, but her body grew tired and we had to make the decision to have a tracheostomy put in place as she couldn't be on the breathing tube very much longer. March 16th, mom had surgery to have the tracheostomy and a peg tube put in temporarily until she can breathe and eat on her own. The surgery went well and she is stable. Everything is so up in the air right now. There's talk of putting her in a specialty facility VS a nursing facility. The hospital bills will definitely put on strain on my father and her. If there's anyway you can help, please do. My sister and I would really appreciate it. Our mom has a very long road ahead of her.
