Thanks for viewing my page. My name is Devonna and up until 2 years ago I was employed as an extracurricular traveling pre-k to grade 12 Science teacher, for which I did for almost 20 years. About 12 years ago I was diagnosed with Endometriosis during a laparoscopic procedure, and also learned at that time that I am also allergic to anesthesia. This allergy makes it impossible to remove any more polyps or have the hysterectomy gynecologists recommend. Not only am I dealing with crippling Endometriosis I have had an undiagnosed illness that I have been trying to discover the root of and heal. This has been a 10 year venture resulting in many Doctors and countless medications. In my quest for healing we have completely drained all our financial resources, I am not able to work nor can I collect SSI because I cannot go to normal Doctors being allergic to all pharmaceuticals. I have been seeing a Naturepath for the last 10 years and he has been able to keep me alive but has not been able to figure out what else is going on and he is also retiring very soon. I have suffered in the last few years of severe virtago, massive digestive pain, major muscle and bone pain, anxiety, depression and complete brain fog.
Unfortunately when you use up your financial resources, companies take action. We used all our savings and maxed out all our credit cards over the last 10 years paying for my Naturepath which was on average $240 a week. Because we got behind on our Mortgage all of our credit card companies either canceled our account or reduced our limits. Of course this raised our debt to income ratio lowering our credit score so low that we cannot get any loans or any other credit cards. Our home warranty company also dropped us even though we were payed in full, so now we have no insurance on our home appliances. My husbands position was eliminated this summer and he went 3 months with out work and unemployment only pays around 40% of what was earned. He found a new job this fall but had to take a $20,000 a year pay cut. He is also being garnished for a debt that is very old, $5,000 total and they are taking 20% of each check leaving us with very little to live on.gundrymd.com Between his unemployment and what our credit cards did we are tapped out and are one sneeze away from losing our house.
I have decided that this is the year that I either get better or choose hospice care, but I need your help. We cannot aford any medications or Doctors for me, not to mention food. I have found a new Doctor that has been doing research about people in my condition and has found that Lectins in our food could be the root cause of my pain and symptoms. About a month ago I began taking his Total Restore supplements and have found relief in them, but I cannot aford another bottle and the other supplements that I should be taking as well. I also need to change my diet again and is very costly. So I am asking today for help, I cannot do this alone anymore. If you could help us with any amount we would be so appreciative! Also if anyone lives close to me or wants to help out, I could really use the help, my house haven’t been cleaned properly in years and I do believe I could sell some of my things but dont know how to go about it or have the energy for it. I am only able to spend about 3 hours a day doing domestic work before the pain is so bad I have to resort to pain management, which is moaning and trashing on the couch until I can make it to bed, in which I can hardly sleep through the pain.
