Roger Ringo was diagnosed with Congestive Heart Failure in 2011. Since that time, his condition has worsened considerably. His heart is now functioning at only a 10% rate. Because his heart is unable to pump an adequate amount of blood to the rest of his body's vital organs, Roger is constantly fatigued and very weak. When Roger was diagnosed with Congestive Heart Failure in 2011, he decided to fight this battle on his own, choosing to keep his health condition hidden from his family, friends and co-workers. He didn't want anyone to worry about him or to think he could no longer be his normal, confident, strong self. So, everyday, no matter who saw Roger, he always had a big smile and a great attitude. When at work, he always encouraged and motivated employees to accomplish their goals and career ambitions. And in the presence of friends and family, he always kept the room entertained and offered great advice whenever needed.
Presently, Roger’s life is dependent on an intravenous medicine 24/7 to prolong his life. Though the medicine is helping Roger stay alive, he still encounters a life and death battle every day struggling to breathe with consistent fatigue, body aches and swelling. The good news is Roger is likely to be qualified for a heart transplant once he passes the three tests his care team conducts.
Meanwhile Roger’s co-workers, friends and church members have agreed to raise money for Roger’s medical bills and other expenses because Roger has impacted our lives in many ways and helped us become better individuals, leaders and managers.
We will be very thankful to anyone in the community willing to help Roger while he is on the path to recovery. Any donation is appreciated. Most of all PRAY for Roger’s recovery.
