Hello, I'm Mohamed Mahmoud Dawoud, currently in Egypt. I am originally from Gaza, but my family situation is complex. I have my mother, two sisters named Nourhan and Shahd, and two brothers, Mohannad and Dawoud. Additionally, my sister-in-law, Hadeel, recently gave birth to baby Dania.

My niece Dania’s situation is very urgent since she is a newborn and has little access to food, and has not had any of the vital vaccinations that can protect her from the spread of disease in the refugee camps. Her mother is not able to feed her due to malnutrition, and the blockage of aid into Rafah and Gaza has made infant formula impossible to find. Not to mention the lack of clean water to prepare the formula. Getting the family out of Rafah is extremely urgent to help make their survival possible.

Currently, my family are in the south of Gaza district, living in a tent. The harsh reality is that we lost our home, my brother's home, and all our belongings due to this genocide, compelling my family to relocate to the South and adapt to a life of basic survival in a tent.

The conditions they face are horrible—no access to food, water, or electricity. My brother has a newborn who came into the world during these difficult times. The urgency to act as I strive to bring them out of this hard situation in Egypt, where I currently live, is very important.

Their struggle is something that breaks my heart, and the absence of basic necessities adds to the gravity of their displacement. As a son, brother, it's a personal quest to ensure the safety and well-being of my family. The goal is clear: to navigate through adversity, reunite with my loved ones, and provide them with a chance at a more secure and hopeful future.
