Support Mary and Steve After House Fire
Donation protected
Dear friends and family,
On the morning of Saturday, April 29th, a fire broke out in Mary and Steve’s master bedroom (Chris Greenleaf’s parents). They were home at the time and didn’t realize their home was on fire. Thanks to the quick actions of family members next door, they could get out safely with three of their pets. (Thankfully, hours later, their missing kitty was found.)
You can read the coverage in this article in The Lincoln County News:
The fire spread quickly throughout the master bedroom, master bathroom, the home’s front deck, and the attached screened-in structure. Everything on the deck - including bins of seasonal clothing Mary was sorting through for storage - is a complete loss.
The remainder of the home has extensive smoke and water damage. They lost all of the food in their refrigerator and three-quarters of their dry goods and pantry items.

As you can imagine, this loss is devastating. They’ve secured temporary shelter for the time being. However, because their home is destroyed and they’ve lost most of what they need to live day-to-day, we’re organizing this GoFundMe to help them put their lives back together.
We’re thankful for those who have reached out to family members with offers of clothing and other donations. Please share this fundraiser on your social media and with others who can help.
Thank you,
Chris & Jenn Greenleaf
