Support Alyssa's Fight Against Cancer

Alyssa is a devoted single mother of two who has always put her family first. Over the past few months, she began experiencing increasing pain in her back and skin irritation that was initially misdiagnosed as shingles. When the pain radiated to her stomach along with bleeding in her abdomen, further tests revealed the devastating news: a large cancerous mass under her breast and several smaller ones nearby. This official Follicular Lymphoma diagnosis has turned her world upside down, and she now faces a long road of treatment and recovery that will require regular monitoring for the rest of her life.

Alyssa is the primary provider for her children and has always worked hard to keep a stable home for them. Now, she's had to take time off work to attend doctor's appointments and begin treatment, which has led to a sudden loss of income as the medical bills start to roll in. The most urgent concern is paying rent so she and her children can stay in their home. Stability is her utmost concern. Even with this support, the future will be especially difficult as her treatment progresses and her energy wanes. Recently, her car's transmission had shown signs of failing, making it even harder to get to appointments and care for her family. By a stroke of luck, the insurance company worked with us to repair the main issue.

Alyssa's friends are doing what they can to help with additional repairs and childcare. The financial strain is overwhelming, but by coming together to support Alyssa, we can help her focus on healing and ensure her children have a safe place to call home during this incredibly challenging time. Any contribution will go directly toward keeping a roof over their heads and helping Alyssa get through her treatment.

In the coming weeks, she will be going in for a bone marrow biopsy and then her chemotherapy begins.
