Gideon Gilchrist, our sweet baby boy, is not receiving the medical equipment he deserves. It’s devastating to us, but we trust God and the plan He has for us. The Lord has always provided to us in times of need and right now we place our hope in Him and His church.
When Gideon was born, he was unable to breath and he was with 10 minutes without oxygen. He now has cerebral palsy. He is 2 now and we’re still working on crawling and eating for now, but we have come a long way. There is a lot of therapies involved and equipment necessary to help with the disability.
- gait trainer
- bath seat
- portable 5 point harness chair
- adaptive potty training seat
- funds for his food
- funds to go to intensive therapy programs that are not local
- funds for special treatments that are not covered by insurance
Being a parent is already so hard, but to have the stressors of having a child with a disability, as well as the financial instability…. It’s overwhelming.
We need help, please help our little boy get what he needs to thrive and recover from his brain injury.
A little bit more about our story here:
“So don’t be afraid; you are more valuable to God than a whole flock of sparrows.”
